By John Dalton The Barneveld School Board welcomed two new members on Wednesday at its regular monthly meeting. Marlea Knox and Daniel Mickelson are the newly elected board members. 2,397 voted for three seats in the spring election.

Southwest Tech Foundation completes property purchase

The Southwest Tech Foundation has completed purchase of the former site of the Iowa County Jail on the city’s north side. “We are anxious to see what they do with the property,” County Administrator Larry Bierke said.

Highland School Board approves extension with WARCO

The transportation needs for the Highland School District will be taken care of for the next five years.
